Proposed Severance of 2067 Palmer Avenue

Last week, the AVCA hosted a well-attended meeting regarding the proposed severance of 2067 Palmer Avenue. All attendees were opposed to the request for minor variance that will be presented at the Committee of Adjustment on March 20th given the precedent setting nature of the variance. The proposed variance would result in two lots much smaller than lot sizes in the area and allow for severance of a corner lot that is against City of Ottawa Infill 2 bylaw. The last day to provide comments ( for those directly impacted by the proposed severance) to the Committee of Adjustment is today, March 13th. They can be emailed at . AVCA and the Faircrest Heights Community Association will make delegations at the meeting, immediate neighbours encouraged to attend.
