Special AVCA Planning meeting March 4th,7pm

An application has been received by the City of Ottawa Committee of Adjustment to sever the corner lot property at 2067 Palmer into two lots. The applicant needs permission from the City to do so as this is against the current zoning by-laws, and therefore the AVCA is holding a meeting where neighbours and residents can express their views to the representatives (planners) of the client looking to split the lot. The meeting will be held Monday, March 4th at 7pm at Rideau Park United Church. Please rsvp to Patrizia Huot at anna_maria.huot@outlook.com if you will be attending.

Heron Gate Presentation

On February 11th and 12th Timbercreek provided this presentation to attendees of the city councillor’s open house on Heron Gate. The presentation provided an overview of what was heard over the last year of consultations, Timbercreek’s social framework commitments, and examines options they are exploring with respect to built form and density as well as open spaces and green connections. There will be further consultations towards the end of March prior to Timbercreek seeking approval of their plan. Updates on those meetings will be provided here in the common weeks.
